We kiss. . .
Beneath night's canopy;
Wrapped in love's embrace;
Illuminated in silhouette,
Before the full moon's gaze.

In the silence...
We hear our hearts rejoice,
and find no need to speak;
Of the miracles that have led us here,
Or of blessings, yet to be.

For we are content,
 to be held in each others arms;
sharing our sacred space,
With the sleepy moon, watching over us,
In these moments of perfect grace.

And as we linger;
in the celestial light;
I look to heaven, with this wish;
That all the lonely hearts on earth
Will know such bliss as this.
