Come away while the Moon's in the meadow,
Empty your mind of it's mortal dream
With a reprieve from Man's dominion,
Where the world is not all as it seems.

Let the night winds awaken your senses,
Mingle your steps through the dancing leaves,
Embrace wisdom "neath the oak and willow
Whispering truth that never deceives.


Seek comfort upon the breast of Nature.
Refresh your spirit in the dew-drop glade.
Allow silence to be your companion
And peace a caressing wave.

Leave the world and troubles behind you;
Harness the stars to be your guide;
Come away while the moon's in the meadow
Before the dawn's breaking light.
