I have followed this path, not so long ago... the date or year? I do not know... But today, as I gaze through Autumns' golden haze, and weave my steps through this forest maze, Of twisting pathways and falling leaves, that lie shadowed with the remnants of memories; Faint echoes seem to lead me on, down this long forgotten trail, where I softly walk between two worlds that beckon beyond the veil... I can feel Mother earth greet my feet as I cleanse my spirit in this cool clear creek, and smell the pine smoke that fills the air as it stirs the feathers in my hair. My eyes follow a majestic eagles flight as he seeks shelter before the fall of night, while around me, the deer run gracefully, and in my heart, I am one with their family. In the distance, wolves gather with out a sound to share their wisdom upon sacred ground, and through the twilight breeze, I hear their songs, that welcome me home where I belong. Shadows lengthen with evening tide, big paws approach, night wings glide... The wind sprits move through the arms of trees and carries the voice of my ancestry. I form a prayer circle beneath the the full moon light and give thanks for the blessings of this night. The wise ones gaze down from the stars above while Great Spirit guides me with his love. Many colors surround my blazing fire as I dance with the visions of my desire, then slowly ascend the misty mountain peaks... where the earth does drum... and the old stones speak.. I have followed this path, not so long ago... the day or year? I do not know...
